Media accreditation is now open for the 2024 Canoe Slalom & Kayak Cross selection event at Lee Valley White Water Centre, taking place between 30 March – 1 April.
Four selected Paris 2024 Olympians will be on the start-line ahead of the eagerly anticipated Games season, with Olympic medallists Joe Clarke MBE and Mallory Franklin, alongside Adam Burgess and Kimberley Woods all racing across the Easter weekend.
An action-packed three days of canoe slalom and kayak cross racing kick off 2024, with the junior and U23 athletes racing for selection ahead of the U23 & Junior World Championships in Liptovsky, Slovakia, as well as the European Championships in Krakow, Poland.
With the 2024 senior team already selected, the weekend will also showcase the brand new Olympic event of Kayak Cross, with the battling, head to head format making its Games debut at Paris this summer.
With a final place on the 2024 senior team up for grabs, athletes will be looking to secure their spot during the weekend, ahead of the final Olympic qualifier at the World Cup in Prague this June.
There are also opportunities to capture three kayak cross competitions across the Sunday and Monday, with time-trials and head to head competition taking place on 31 March and 1 April, featuring paddlers from a number of different disciplines on the start-line.
