Reporting a paddlesport incident helps us establish an accurate picture of safety across the country. Incident reports can also help identify any issues and concerns. These are then used to improve safety across the paddlesport community and beyond.
Anyone can use the online incident report form, not just Paddle UK members. The form is for reporting paddlesport incidents involving any paddlesport craft or discipline. The form should be completed as soon as practical after the incident.

Paddle UK is a privacy conscious organisation and is strongly committed to an individual's right to privacy. All data gathered following the completion of the incident reporting form will only be utilised to administer the incident report, determine trends, identify risks and inform future risk assessments. Any personal data provided will be processed and stored in compliance with the Paddle UK Data Protection Policy and in accordance with all applicable Data Protection laws in effect at the time of publication of this form, including but not limited to, the Data Protection Act 2018 and the UK GDPR. Data may be shared securely with statutory authorities for the purposes of investigating the incident, or with other third parties where we are legally required to do so. In all other circumstances, data will be anonymised before sharing.
