National Honours and Awards Panel (NHAP)
The NHAP considers nominations for Queen's Honours and Paddle UK (British Canoeing) Honours and Awards and make recommendations to the Board for approval. Its responsibilities include:
- Ensuring that nominations for honours are invited in good time
- Ensuring that nominations meet the agreed criteria
- Consideration of all nominations received
- Informing the National Association Boards and Paddle UK Board of all nominations received and submit recommendations for approval, and..
- From time to time review the honours and awards criteria.

Volunteer and Recognition Awards Panel
The Volunteer and Recognition Awards Panel meets only once per year to consider the national winners for the Volunteer and Recognition Awards from the winners of the Regions across eight different categories. The composition of the group changes each year and does not have terms of reference.
