Interview
Your application will be reviewed by the hiring manager and our HR team and if you meet the selection criteria we may be in touch. Our interview invites are sent out via email and you will be able to choose your interview time.
We like to do most of our interviews in person at our office. We believe that meeting candidates face to face offers the best opportunity to get to know you and for you to learn about our people and culture and get a feel for our location.
Details of the interview will be shared in advance. Generally, our interviews involve answering questions relating to your skills and experience based on the competencies of the role and our values. Depending on the role, we might ask you to create and share a presentation on a topic to highlight specific skills.
At this stage, you'll meet the hiring manager and have an opportunity to learn more about Paddle UK, and the role and ask questions. We want to be a good fit for you too.
Occasionally we conduct a two-stage interview process depending on the level of role.
Decision
The interview panel will make their decision as soon as possible, you will be advised of the timeframe at the end of the interview. Unsuccessful candidates will be informed by email and offered the opportunity to receive feedback.
Onboarding
We contact all successful candidates by phone to make the employment offer. Once offered the position, you can expect to receive your written offer letter and employment contract through our HR system to sign electronically.
Once the employment offer is accepted, you are on your way to becoming a Paddle UK employee. We will complete our pre-employment checks, including, DBS, references, onboarding forms and right to work checks prior to your start date.
Before your start date, you can expect a phone call from your Line Manager to discuss your first day, and induction and answer any questions you may have.
