Liability Insurance

Marsh | Bluefin Sport are the appointed insurance broker to Paddle UK. As an On The Water member you benefit from this liability insurance.

What is covered

By being a member of Paddle UK either as a member, official, committee member, coach, coach educator or volunteer you are entitled to general insurance to protect you and provide peace of mind.

Individual member cover

All individual members of Paddle UK are covered by Public and Products Liability Insurance.

Coach cover

Coaches are provided with insurance coverage as individual members and they also benefit from Professional Indemnity insurance coverage.

Professional indemnity insurance

Professional Indemnity insurance is a cover that protects coaches who provide advice or service to the people they are coaching. It protects coaches against legal costs and claims for damages to third parties which may arise out of an act, omission or breach of their professional duty in the course of their coaching.

Club associates

Members of affiliated clubs are insured for recognised sessions and activities of the club. However, these club members will not be insured if they are paddling at other times.

If you think you will be paddling outside of sessions organised by your club you will need to purchase your membership from the National Association where you live.

Start to type a river, canal or lake below to find out if your waterway covered by membership. Don't know your nearest waterway? Then enter your full postcode and it'll return all the waterways in a 30-mile radius of the location with the nearest first.
