Jonah Hanrahan experienced a breakthrough year in 2023 as he earned selection for a junior international team for the first time.
It was an impressive debut at the European Junior Championships too as Hanrahan reached the final of the K1 event at the first time of asking, progressing nicely through the rounds before finishing ninth in Bratislava.
After stepping up to international competition in 2023, Hanrahan will join the World Class Programme for the first time in 2024.
Hanrahan started the sport aged ten while at school before joining a club in Pau having moved from Plymouth to France as a toddler.
