Ed Clifton

Ed Clifton, who only switched to paracanoe, in 2021, finished seventh in the men’s VL2, in Paris – his Paralympic Games debut.

He was pleased with position at the Vaires-sur-marne Stadium and has vowed to come back stronger ready for LA in 2028.

Ed was formerly a track and field athlete, competing across the throws events in the F56 class and representing the British team in 2019.

Ed made his international debut at the Poznan World Cup in 2022, where he finished seventh in the VL2.

A year later he competed at his first World Championships in 2023, placing ninth.
