Jon Tarrant

Jon ‘Taz’ Tarrant was introduced to paracanoe after seeing it showcased at the LimbPower Games in 2019. From there he joined Royal Leamington Spa Canoe Club before earning selection onto the World Class Programme for the first time in 2022.

He made his international debut later that year, competing in the KL3 at the Poznan World Cup before going on to finish sixth at the European Championships in Munich. He made his maiden World Championship appearance in 2023, finishing 14th.

Aside from paddling, Tarrant is currently working on an MSc in Renewable Energy at Loughborough University.
