With just 50 days to go until the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, Paddle UK has today launched the new Paris 2024 Olympic & Paralympic Games Hub.
The new hub features all the latest Paris 2024 paddling news as we build into the Games, more about our Paris 2024 athletes, sport explainer videos, and Games schedules.
For those inspired to paddle by the Games, the hub also includes a local club finder to match prospective paddlers with their local club facilities.
In November last year, TeamGB announced four slalom athletes selected to go to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, with Rio Olympic Champion Joe Clarke MBE, Tokyo silver medallist Mallory Franklin, Kimberley Woods and Adam Burgess all returning for their second Olympics.
The slalom team are racing at the World Cup in Prague this weekend, which also offers Britain a chance of qualifying an additional boat quota place in the men’s kayak cross.
There's still more of the ‘Paddle to Paris’ team to come, as our paracanoe athletes go head-to-head at the National Water Sports Centre in Nottingham for Paralympic selection.
Racing across two days on 7 & 8 June, athletes will battle it out for selection to Paris, with the British team winning nine boat quota places for this summer's Paralympics.
Keep an eye on the Paddle UK channels across this weekend to see how athletes in slalom and paracanoe get on.
