Paris bound duo Joe Clarke MBE and Kimberley Woods secured top three finishes in the heats of the third ICF slalom World Cup in Krakow, Poland.
Jonny Dickson also progressed at the first attempt as all six kayak Brits made it through to tomorrow afternoon's semi-finals.
Clarke (Stafford & Stone) couldn’t have asked for a better start on the Krakow course as he topped the men's kayak heats this afternoon.
Chasing the time of 82.87 set by Spanish paddler Echaniz, Clarke was quicker on every split in his pursuit of the semi-finals, extending the advantage as he progressed through the course.
Keeping it clean, the Rio Olympic Champion went 1.78 seconds ahead to top the heats.
Enjoying recent visits to Krakow, including a silver and two bronze in his last two visits, Clarke said:
“I'm delighted with that.
“This World Cup is about delivering what I know I'm capable of. I don't feel I've done that so far in slalom, so runs like that are fantastic to build confidence and show where I'm at. A few more of those this weekend would be great.
“Lots to play for in the coming days but very much about taking control of my business and putting runs and performances I'm happy with, putting me in a great place heading to the Olympics.
“Krakow is a course a lot of Brits are fond of. It's the closest thing we've got to Lee Valley and Nottingham. Basically a hybrid. When we come here it can feel like a home from home.”
Securing two consecutive kayak finals heading into Krakow, Kimberley Woods (Rugby) impressed again in the women's kayak heats to place third and make her way into tomorrow's semi-finals.
Going clean, the kayak cross World Champion set the fastest time of the round so far in 90.94, and with eight paddlers still to go, only two could beat Woods' effort as she qualified comfortably through.
Pleased with her run, she said:
“I only had one session in the lead up to this race so I was interested to see how it would go today. I felt comfortable that I could adapt and knowing the course well enough so I could enjoy it and see how I performed.
“There's a few less on the start-list but I really wanted to get a top five today which I did so really happy to go fast and clean.
“I feel I've made really good progress since the Europeans. I haven't made changes, I've just been more sensible with what I need to do. I'm taking confidence with the runs I've been putting down.
“I would love to get a medal to show I'm going for medals in Paris. But it's not just about that. You can't always control the result, you can just control what you're doing and that's what I'm doing.
“I'm seeing the opportunities on the water.”
Jonny Dickson (CR Cats) also placed in the top ten of the men's kayak to safely make his way through to tomorrow.
Showing great pace once again, Dickson kept his run clean as very little separated second to tenth, as he placed eighth in 83.70.
A 50 for Chris Bowers (Stafford & Stone) meant he needed the second run, but he more than made up for it on attempt two, cleaning his delivery up to finish third in 84.60.
Nikita Setchell (Holme Pierrepont) and Lois Leaver (Edinburgh Schools) needed the second run in the women's event.
After missing a gate in run one, Leaver removed all her gate penalties to finish fourth in 95.71.
Only just missing out at the first attempt, Setchell made it a full house of kayaks into the next stage as she finished eighth with the top ten progressing.
