An outdoor activities instructor has paddled about 300km (186 miles) on waterways in Yorkshire and Lancashire to raise money for Stand Up to Cancer.
Jon Callow, 32, raised over £2,500 for charity after his fiancee, Anna Hall, was diagnosed with breast cancer.
Jon, who runs River and Dale Adventures, a Paddle UK Delivery Partner, completed the Outer Pennine Ring, in seven days, on a Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP).
His venture was featured on BBC News Online after setting off from Shipley, on 1 April.
Jon told Paddle UK he had to battle through “prolonged bouts of rain” but largely “lucked out” with the weather.
“The support I experienced was unparalleled,” he said. “I had many flying visits throughout especially towards the end of the challenge.
“Every one of them insisting on offering some form of assistance whether it be bringing me food, replenishing my water supply, offering me warm drinks and even helping me lift equipment around locks and swing bridges.”
Jon's fiancé Anna and mother of his little girl was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in 2023.
She has been undergoing chemotherapy following surgery to remove the tumours.
“Anna has been so happy to have me back home… she has been my biggest cheerleader throughout.
“She and everyone we speak to reminds me of how in awe they are of the scale of the challenge, the distance I actually paddled, the circumstances of the weather and how I did the whole thing with a smile on my face.”
