British Canoeing has been made aware of a product recall for a children's buoyancy aid presenting a risk of drowning as it is possible for the product to overturn while in use.
The model being recalled is the Nabaiji Baby Inflatable Float with Built-in Harness sold by Decathlon. Three designs of the baby inflatable float with built in harness are being recalled.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Personal Protective Equipment (Enforcement) Regulations 2018.

The product has been identified as presenting a risk of drowning as it is possible for the product to overturn while in use. If the child was strapped into the buoyancy aid, and the product was to overturn the child's head could remain underwater, therefore posing a risk of drowning.
Corrective Action
