Paddle UK is opening a consultation with members as we look to make important constitutional changes.
This is aimed at ensuring a better connection between the Board and our diverse membership.
We will be consulting on proposals to modernise the Paddle UK governance structure with the key
objectives to achieve:
- A Board that is diverse in skills, experience and background and that is truly representative
of our membership - A mechanism to ensure the key voices across England and our UK functions are heard and
represented at Board level - A Presidential role that will help raise the profile of Paddle UK
- Vice President roles that are more purposeful, engaged and rewarding
You can read more detail about our initial proposals here:
- Paddle UK Constitutional Change Consultation Proposals1.40 MBJune 24, 2024This document contains the proposals for constitutional change at Paddle UK.
The first stage of consultation will be online focus groups to explore feedback from members on
these proposals.
This is a great opportunity to help shape the way you are represented on the Board, the important roles of president and vice president and support the establishment of a volunteer body that can help shape the strategic direction of Paddle UK. Members will be emailed with information about joining a focus group or can contact nancy.squires@ paddleuk.org.uk if support is required in this process.
