Kristina Armstrong and Zoe Clark both booked their second A Finals of the week on day two of the canoe sprint Junior and U23 European Championships in Bratislava.
The U23 pair already secured their K2 place yesterday, before backing it up with individual performances in the K1 1000m and 500m respectively.
Making her first step up to the U23 circuit after becoming a junior world medallist last season, Armstrong (Scottish Performance Squad) emphatically won her U23 women's K1 500m semi-final to make it two A Finals on Sunday.
Armstrong was in the middle of the pack from the start, with Ukrainian Stalinova taking an early lead.
A fantastic second 250m fight-back from the Scottish athlete however saw her take the win in the final moments, finishing in a time of 1:55.559.
Delighted with how she performed, she said:
“I'm really pleased with that performance. I wasn't sure what to expect when I came out at the start of the week, being my first U23 competition. I've achieved my goals to reach the A final on top of the K2 A Final. I'm really proud of that.
“The race this morning was a great race for me. I stuck to my race plan and I did it the way I wanted to so I'm pleased with that.
“I've trained really hard over this winter.I can feel the improvements. I had my first international competition here in Bratislava five years ago so to come back and compare how I've done. It's so cool to see how I've progressed over that time.
“Racing in Poznan at the World Cup gave me a great experience, and I've improved my processes off the back of it.”
Clark (Royal) banked her second A Final place early on in the day as she contested the U23 K1W 1000m semi-finals.
She took an early lead alongside Czechia athlete Hazova as the pair powered ahead of the remainder of the field. Needing a top three finish to the A Final, Clark's time of 4:10.788 saw her place comfortably second.
Phil Miles (Royal Leamington Spa) kicked off the action for Britain as he finished fifth in his K1 U23 1000m semi-final.
The 22-year-old's time of 3:43.939 secured him a B Final place tomorrow.
A fourth place for Annabel Hutchinson (Reading) saw her just miss out on the junior K1W 500m A Final.
Putting down a time of 2:02.046, she was just a second off the top three as she races the B Final on Sunday morning.
Xavier Hinves (Southampton) will line up in Sunday's U23 K1M B Final.
Finishing eighth, Hinves secured the next best time of 1:47.632 which booked him the spot into the next round of racing.
Junior athlete Philippe Ehrnrooth (Devizes) narrowly missed out on a B Final place in the K1 500m as he finished seventh in his semi-final.
The 16-year-old was half a second off qualification.
After securing an A Final place on the opening day of racing, Tom Lambert (Lincoln) was in U23 C1 200m heats action during the afternoon. The 22-year-old booked a semi-final place after finishing sixth in 46.964.
Amy Green (Worcester) was incredibly close to securing an A Final place in the U23 K1W 200m heats.
She battled well to finish fourth in 43.985, under half a second off a top three place to qualify straight through, meaning she will line up in the semi-finals.
Dianora De Bilio (Royal) was in individual action today as she raced the junior K1W 200m heats, battling to finish six in 49.184 to progress to semi-finals tomorrow.
In the men's race, junior athlete Nelson Kinzler (Richmond) will also be in the 200m semi-finals after battling to fifth in 40.907

Joe Enoch (Nottingham) and Toby Bullock (Exeter) knocked a second off their heat time in the junior K1M 1000m semi-finals in 3:33.853, but unfortunately the pair finished sixth with only the top three progressing.
It was a similar situation for Dom Stanley (Nottingham) and Gabriel Popham-Coveley (Nottingham) as they too vastly improved on their heats time in the U23 race.
Despite going down the 500m in 3:28.731, the duo came fifth overall which meant they missed out on the A Final.
The crew of Andre Hinves (Southampton), Freddie Heard (Exeter), Olivier Mazur (Reading) and Nathaniel Lamb (Southampton) finished ninth in their semi-final and sadly missed out on a place in the final of the junior K4M 500m.
