A 14-strong team has today been announced to compete at the canoe sprint junior and U23 World Championships in Plovdiv, Bulgaria.
With athletes battling it out at the selection regatta at the National Water Sports Centre last weekend, the team will race from 17-21 July.
Fresh from racing the senior World Cup in Poznan last month, U23 paddler Tom Lambert (Lincoln) will be back in international action after claiming a clean sweep of victories at the selection regatta. He will take on the men's C1 500m & 1000m.
Kristina Armstrong (Scottish Performance Squad) impressed in Nottingham again over the weekend, being selected to race the U23 K1W 500m, as well as the K2W 500m alongside Royal's Zoe Clark.
Clark has three events to focus on during the World Championships as she also takes on the U23 K1W 1000m and the mixed K1 5km relay with Phil Miles (Royal Leamington Spa).
Miles will race individually in the men's K1 1000m, as well as being part of the men's K4 heading to Bulgaria.
Alongside Miles, Southampton's Xavier Hinves, Dylan O'Connor (Richmond) and Benji Cabrera (Fowey) make up the crew set to take on the 500m race.
Hinves and O'Connor will also take on the K2 500m together to conclude the U23 squad.
In the juniors, Philippe Ehrnrooth (Devizes) will be in the K1M 500m boat after another successful selection regatta.
Annabel Hutchinson (Reading) continues her form as she prepares to line up in the women's K1 1000m.
Exeter's Toby Bullock will race the K1M 1000m, as well as combining with Joe Enoch (Nottingham) in the K2 1000m, and Hutchinson in the mixed K1 5km relay.
Nelson Kinzler (Richmond) and Huw Singleton (Nottingham) will join forces for the K2 500m, whilst Owen Chisholm (Richmond) completes the team as he takes on the C1 1000m.
