Zoë Blythe-Shields has enjoyed an impressive age-group career since her international debut, aged 15, at the World Junior Championships in Italy in 2022.
At the European Junior Championships in Bratislava in 2023, she finished sixth in the women's C1 final and claimed silver in the team event alongside Arina Kontchakov and Aimee Collins.
Competing at a World Junior Championships for the second successive time a month later in Krakow, Blythe-Shields finished sixth again in the women's C1 final.
Blythe-Shields was introduced to paddling at her local leisure centre, initially taking part in canoe polo, before having her first white water experience on Lee Valley's legacy loop.
