Kristina Armstrong

A formidable number of seasons at U23 and junior level saw Kristina Armstrong earn selection to the World Class Programme for the first time in 2025.

Linlithgow paddler Kristina was crowned double U23 European Champion in her debut season in the age category.

Working with Anton Vazquez, she kicked off her week in Bratislava by securing gold in the K1 500m event, showcasing a strategic race by storming the backend of the final to take the title.

Later that day, she partnered with Zoe Clark in the K2 500m to claim her second title of the Championships as the pair executed a fantastic race.

In 2023, Kristina rounded off her final year as a junior by winning double bronze at the World Championships in Auronzo. She won the K1 200m in Italy before combining with Dylan O’Connor in the mixed K2 500m to take a second medal.
